To make full use of The Woodhaven, you'll need firewood cut 12" and longer. The volume is figured using 24" long logs. The rectangular steel tube design allows for easy stacking, and we include wrenches for fast assembly. It's recommended to use a 7/16 socket wrench for the quickest assembly.

The wood seasoning process is crucial for optimal firewood use. We recommend purchasing "freshly cut" wood in late spring. By doing so, your firewood will have the entire summer to naturally dry out and become lightweight and easy to light. This natural drying process is called seasoning.

For the best results, we suggest purchasing "cured" or "heat-treated" wood from your local firewood provider, as it speeds up the seasoning process. Our covers work well for both fresh-cut and cured woods.
